Our Story
Pier Michigan Canvas is proudly owned and operated by Dave Foy and his wife, Brianna. As life long Michigan natives, they call Linwood home and share a love for life on the water with their dogs, Auburn and Bella.
In April 2024, they turned their passion into a business, embarking on a journey that took them to Maryland, where Dave had the privilege of learning from some of the best in the industry. With the support of incredible customers and generous referrals, what began as a simple idea and a basement workshop, has grown beyond anything they ever imagined.
This spring, they're thrilled to launch operations out of their brand-new 1,700 sq. ft. shop. With more space and capabilities, PMC is ready to take on new projects and provide top-quality canvas solutions for fellow boating enthusiasts. They look forward to bringing your ideas to life!

High-quality PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) thread is used for all our boat canvas projects. Unlike standard polyester thread, PTFE thread is UV-resistant, waterproof, and built to withstand the harsh marine environment without breaking down. It won’t rot, fade, or degrade over time, ensuring your boat cover, bimini, or enclosure stays strong and secure for years to come.
